Overview

The Girls on the Run Hudson Valley Associate Board is seeking new members to join the 2026-2028 Board. The Associate Board supports the goals set by the governing Board and members are committed to spreading awareness of GOTR Hudson Valley to their networks. An Associate Board member is a champion of the GOTR mission and supports the organization through events and activities that serve our council through service, fundraising and leadership.

Annual Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Commit to serving on the Associate Board for a 2-year term. 
  • Commit to attending four in-person meetings per calendar year in January, April, July, and October at our office. 
  • Attend and support all Girls on the Run Hudson Valley’s major annual events 
  • Assist in planning and attending at least one Associate Board-supported event 
  • Contribute $50 in member dues per year.
  • Fulfill a give or get fundraising commitment of a minimum of $500 per year through personal donations, securing corporate sponsorship, securing auction item(s) with an auction value of $500, or purchasing tickets to our fundraisers
